Chicka Chicka Boom Boom is simply known as "BOOM BOOM" in our home. It is by far our most favorite book and I can't live without it because it is helping me teach
my 20 month old twins their ABC's!
There is something so sweet about hearing my babies singing along as I read and sing the simple but fun words in this book. By the way, it's also found on you tube!
Looking forward to finding out what other Mama's love!

ReplyDeleteWe love this book! The copy we have isn't a board book, so we have to keep it out of reach when we're not reading it. The girls love to fold paper pages, and sometimes, in their enthusiasm, they tear the pages. Can't wait till we're though that phase :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a catchy book. As soon as I saw the picture, "Chicka, chicka, boom, boom, will there be a enough room..." started going through my head :) I need to go look for this on youtube!

We have this book, and our girls love it, too. Do you have those plastic echo microphones? Our girls got them on their second birthday, and they love them (they're sold at Walmart and Target for less than $5; I sometimes see them in the dollar bins). I use those microphones to add in sound effects when I read sometimes, and it's a lot of fun (for them and me!) to do "CHICKA-CHICKA BOOM BOOM" with an echo! :)
